Dr Aurore Perrault, PhD, MSc, BA
Woolcock Institute of Medical Research, Macquarie University
I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Woolcock Institute of Medical Research and a Conjoint Lecturer at Macquarie University. Specialising in sleep medicine, my line of research focuses on non-pharmacological interventions (i.e., cognitive-behavioural therapy for insomnia, stimulus control, sensory stimulation) to improve sleep quality, cognitive functioning and mental health, with a particular emphasis on the role of women’s health in sleep across the lifespan. Specifically, I am interested in the influence of hormonal fluctuations (menstrual cycle, hormonal contraception, perimenopause) on sleep and biopsychosocial outcomes.
