Kate is a dual-qualified critical care nurse and cardiopulmonary exercise physiologist. She has extensive clinical experience across emergency, outpatient cardiac rehabilitation, clinical trials, governance, and leadership. Kate's research interests include how sex and gender impact cardiopulmonary disease risk, diagnosis, and management. In her teaching practice, Kate ensures that sex and gender considerations are a focus for students in health professions programs.
